So if I disable those systems it will work fine. And it will bring it all comments from all the different sources.

Unfortunately, the BackType Connect WordPress plugin doesn’t work well with third party comment systems. It’s possible to get the “Summary” to show up, but unless you constantly sync your WordPress comments, they won’t show up in Disqus or ID.

We’re hoping to offer BackType Connect functionality in other comment systems in the future.

That’s certainly possible and it’s something we’ve thought about. Replying for twitter and ff would likely come first.

I am wondering if you plan a feature similar to fav.or.it within BackType Connect that will allow the commenting from directly within BackType comment. For example if I was to supply the login details for friendfeed, digg, wordpress gravator, etc and where ever possible I would like to be able to reply back to a comment. Certainly at the least for twitter
