Feb 10th Now Supporting FriendFeed

One of the services we’ve always been interested in supporting is FriendFeed. Today, FriendFeed comments are live on BackType. To claim your comments, just visit the claim comments page and submit your FriendFeed username. This is also great news for people using Search and BackType Alerts – you’ll start receiving timely notifications of activity on FriendFeed that’s of interest to you.

To date, we support:

Publishing Platforms: Blogger, LiveJournal, Movable Type, Posterous, TypePad, Vox, Wordpress
Comment Systems: Disqus, Intense Debate
Aggregators: FriendFeed

yeah, i've noticed it seems to work quite quickly for other people http://www.backtype.com/blog/friendfeed.com . I tried on mine with comments here http://friendfeed.com/e/28bae97a-a77f-7ac5-3c3b... . Nothing showing yet…

Relaying my response on FriendFeed so readers here will see it:

“We pick up comments from FF within seconds usually; however, we had to implement a small deficiency in the interest of quality — for certain types of FF entries, we ignore the first comment (as it is usually generated by the entry itself, or a quotation). We went a little overkill so we're going to do something more clever to solve that problem, instead of ignoring those comments completely.”
